Dr Nick Jones

Dr Nick Jones qualified from Guy's Hospital in 1994 with an honours degree in Medicine, gaining a distinction in Pharmacology. On completing his post graduate qualifications he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 1997. Following 7 years of postgraduate training in Anaeasthesia he was appointed to the post of Consultant in Anaesthesia in 2003. His areas of specialist interest include Anaesthesia for Orthopaedic, Gynaecological and Head and Neck Surgery. He was instrumental in introducing ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia for pain relief after orthopaedic surgery to the North Hampshire Hospital, where he is also the anaesthesic clinical lead for Acute Pain Management, Difficult Airway Management and Ambulatory Surgery.

 

Dr Chris Seifert

Dr Seifert studied medicine at the University of Cologne in Germany and qualified in 1992. He came to the UK in 1993 and undertook postgraduate training within the Wessex School of Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine. In 2001 he spent a year in America at the University of Michigan as a visiting professor. He was appointed as a Consultant in Pain Management & Anaesthesia at the North Hampshire Hospital NHS Trust in Basingstoke in 2003. He re-developed the pain service at the trust for which he was given the prestigious national Pharmaceutical Care Award by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 2005. He also practises independently at the Hampshire Clinic in Old Basing.
